Starting with our April class, we will be beginning our latest baking class endeavor... baking our way through the One Girl Cookies' Cookbook!
April's class is focusing on what put us on the map... COOKIES! Chef Dave will be teaching three recipes straight from the book:
Decadent Chocolate Coins... Isn't all dessert decadent? But this cookie goes above and beyond. It is really rich and chocolatey in an ever so subtle way--not that gooey and sugary sort of decadent, but much more refined and demure.
Cream Cheese Shortbread with Toasted Walnuts... We're a sucker for flavorful but simple cookies and this one is plainly delicious--the crumb is so fine and light that it literally melts in your mouth.
Almonds Spirals... Shaped in a circle (to represent the eternity of marriage) with almonds (which have for centuries symbolized well wished for the couple) and sugar (because marriage is so sweet!), these pretty cookies were created years ago for a wedding order but they are a wonderful treat for any occasion.
